Weddings & Special Occasions

As a recent bride myself, I know how busy it can get as the special date gets closer.  This is why lash extensions are so great – they can make your life so much easier at a time when you already have enough to think about.

What should you choose for your wedding day?
For weddings and other similar special occasions I recommend a natural look with just some added volume. Even though the thickest and darkest lash extensions might look stunning and on trend right now, your future you might not agree with it when looking back at your wedding photos in 30 years time. This is why I think it’s best to go with something a bit more subtle, yet noticeable enough – something that gives enough density to stand out with make-up as well.

Having said all this, I will help you make the right choice, whatever it is that you want for your day, because after all – it is your day.

Minimum of 2-3 bookings

I highly recommend making at least 2-3 bookings – the 1st one should be about 3-4 weeks before your wedding day, the 2nd appointment just before your wedding day to fill in the gaps, and the 3rd one to check in after the honeymoon for an infill and ongoing lash plan. Read more about the appointments below.

Every lash stylist has their own “hand writing” and it is highly recommended that you have your lashes done well before the big event. I recommend the first appointment to be about 3-4 weeks before the special event, so that you can get used to your new look and we can make sure there are no allergic reactions. In the first appointment we will choose your lash style and create a new full set so you can already see what the final result will look like.

If you are happy with your first appointment we will create the exact same style for you just a couple of days before your wedding day – this is the timeframe that I recommend. This way you can make sure that you don’t have your lashes done too early and also that you don’t leave them to the last minute.

If anything needs changing in your lash styling, we can correct it easily in this appointment – we can even apply a new full set.

Now that the wedding is over and you are back from your honeymoon, it would be good to come in for a follow up infill and to decide on your lash plan (and share your wedding photos!). From now on you can keep coming back to regular infill appointments and you can even try some more extravagant looks for your lashes if you want. We can look at different styling or just go with a natural look – possibilities are endless.
